Lewis M. Seward


Mr. Seward's practice is limited to Social
Security Disability and SSI at all levels including
appeals to the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in
Cincinnati, Ohio.  He has been the current
Editor of the Social Security Law Section
newsletter for the State Bar of Michigan since
2002.  He is the past chairperson for the Social
Security Law Section of the State Bar of
Michigan.  He is a Board Member of the Center
for Civil Justice, a nonprofit organization
advocating the rights of the poor on health,
hunger, and housing issues.  He has 12 years
of experience in the health care field including 6
years as a medical reviewer for Medicare and
Medicaid.  In addition to his law degree from
Cooley Law School, he holds a Bachelor's and
Master's degree in Health Care Administration.  

Mr. Seward is a frequent lecturer, both locally
and nationally, on various topics related to
Social Security Disability law.  He is also the
current Disability Law Editor for the book
entitled "Advising the Older Client or Client with
a Disability," published by the Institute for
Continuing Legal Education used by attorneys
and financial professionals.
